With interest-only mortgages, just the interest component of the loan is paid each month. The capital is repaid at the end of the mortgage term.

Interest-only mortgages are not for everyone but they keep monthly repayments down which can be appealing. We work closely with you to work out how the capital will be repaid at the end of the term. This may be through the sale of the property, investments or other means.

You may want to mix the repayment methods and have part of the loan on interest only and part on a full repayment basis. We will explore all options to structure the borrowing in an affordable and suitable way.
